The Adult Seatbelt

What's it like?

A lap and diagonal belt (or lap only belt) which:

Adult Seat Belt

• must be used with appropriate booster until the belt can fit properly across the hips, shoulder and breastbone
• if a lap-only belt, should be adjusted manually for a snug fit over the hips, not leaving any slack
• if fitted with height adjusters, the diagonal strap must be made to lie centrally over the shoulder and away from the neck
